Over the past ten years, your generous support has enabled us to grow and expand our collection and outreach to the community. We are once again reaching out to our supporters and community to help us in this next chapter as we prepare to restore the historic J.A. CRESAP and build a new visitor’s center at Hannibal Locks and Dam to house the boat and our collection of rare and unique museum treasurers.
Two years ago, the museum established an endowment fund at the Marietta Community Foundation to accept monetary donations that will be used towards our long-term goals. Your tax-deductible contribution to this historic project, no matter the amount, will help us build our future, preserve our rich river heritage, and provide us with the foundation upon which this project can be built. We hope to honor your generosity by publicly recognizing your support on our wall of honor upon the project’s completion.
If you wish to make a donation, you may do so by making your check or money order out to the Ohio Valley River Museum and sending it to:
The Marietta Community Foundation c/o Ohio Valley River Museum P.O. Box 77 Marietta, OH 45750
We hope you will join us in helping save one of Monroe County’s, and indeed, one of the inland rivers’ last surviving pieces of history! On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Ohio Valley River Museum, I thank you for your time and continued support!
Taylor Abbott, president
